Biografía

Ingeniero graduado de la Universidad de Costa Rica. Obtuvo el título de maestría en Automática y Robótica de la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña y el doctorado en Informática Industrial de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. El Dr. Rojas trabaja en el modelado, simulación y control de sistemas dinámicos, sus áreas de interés son el control de procesos, el control óptimo, la automatización industrial y la aplicación del control y el modelado en áreas relacionadas con fuentes renovables de energía y aplicaciones a biosistemas. Es profesor asociado, consultor para entidades públicas de Costa Rica, es investigador activo y cuenta con publicaciones científicas internacionales en temas como control de sistemas de generación basados en hidrógeno y control de plantas de tratamiento de agua.
